If you currently hold a domain name in any other .au namespace (eg. com.au, id.au etc.), you’ll be able to apply for Priority Status to register its exact match in .au direct during the six-month period from launch.
To check your priority category and/ or see if there are other registrants eligible for the .au direct name you seek, you can use auDA’s Priority Status Tool.
When .au direct names launch, for the first six months a Priority Allocation Process will be in place that will enable you an opportunity to apply for the exact match of your existing .au domain names
